Norn Point Farming Bug? - Guild Wars Forums

I've done 3 straight runs in Varajar Fells to farm Norn points using the "Path to Revelations" method, and for some reason on this run the Norn "scouts" aren't giving me the rank up bonus. I'm wondering if this is a bug or if the point farming is working similar to the loot anti-farm code, you can only get so much before they find a way to help cut you off. As of right now, I have over 235 kills and not one of the 6 Norn scouts I've talked to has given me a Norn rank up bonus, when normally I get it after talking to only 3. They've given me nothing but Norn reputation points, and I haven't gotten the rank up from the random bonuses either. So, my question is, has this happened to anyone else, and if so, do you know if it's a bug in the game or if it's something else like the "Anti-Farm" code?

Alright, maybe it wasn't a bug, after getting 250 kills I talked to the 8th out of I believe 9 or 10 scouts, and he finally gave me rank 2, but IMO, it still shouldn't have taken that long to get.

the rank up is a random bonus, you can get either by talking to the guys or when you reach every 25 kill, but its random at both, reaching the 25 kills and talking to the npc at the res shrines.

It's all based on random luck. I've done 400 kills on rank 1-2 before
